If you’re looking for something unique this fall in the Gulf Coast region, look no further than the Foo Foo Fest. Held annually in Pensacola, Florida, this arts & culture festival spans 12 days (October 30 – November 10 in 2025) and unites music, visual art, performance, culinary experiences, community events, and more—all under one creative umbrella
The origin of the name “Foo Foo” comes from a 19th-century term for a spontaneous band of musicians aboard a sailing vessel. The festival’s founders embraced this idea: a creative, dynamic gathering of cultural activity—not necessarily one monolithic event, but many shifting, surprising, inspired moments.
Exceptional variety: From aerial art installations, indie music festivals, symphonic performances, visual art exhibits, to immersive theater — there’s a little something for everyone. For 2025, highlight events include an installation called “Afterburn”, an immersive musical “The Luck”, indie-music fest “Night Moves” and more.
